Kenneth Matthew . McKay

About Dr. McKay was raised near Boston, Massachusetts where most of his family continues to reside. He attended the University of Rochester as an undergraduate in the Institute of Optics followed by medical school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. There, he developed a passion for ophthalmology and ultimately returned home to complete his residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. Early in residency, he developed a particular interest in inflammatory diseases affecting the eye. Currently, he is completing a uveitis fellowship at University of Washington. His research interests include advanced ocular imaging and the epidemiology of ocular inflammatory disease. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys cooking, backpacking, and spending time with his wife.
