Alex Legocki

Overview

Dr. Legocki was born and raised in the suburban Boston area. He attended the University of Rochester, where he studied Financial Economics and Biology. After graduating, he returned home to the Boston area to work as an ophthalmic technician, where his interest in fine surgery and clinical ophthalmology grew. After earning his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine, he spent two years of training as a Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Resident at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City before transitioning to a focus in ophthalmology. This led him to the University of Washington, where he conducted research in pediatric retinal imaging for two years. He is thrilled to remain in the Pacific Northwest, as he continues his training as an Ophthalmology Resident. In his free time, Dr. Legocki enjoys handiwork, playing tennis, reading science fiction, and hiking.
